Stopped here for two nights recently and can honestly say that it was amazing. The accommodation is located on a working farm where there are many cows and sheep. The hut we stayed in (Hawthorn) was immaculate with all the necessary amenities and surrounded by the most stunning scenery including Derwent Reservoir. The farm is also within Northumberland's Dark Sky reserve so on a clear night there are some fantastic views of the sky (there is also a glass ceiling above the bed so you can fall asleep under the stars). Dan and Kayleigh were most welcoming. The day we left was sheep sheering day on the farm and Kayleigh let us in to have a look around which was a wonderful end to a fantastic break away from it all. Highly recommend a visit and we will be going back in September (and more after that I would imagine)
